IASHARK is not a bookmaker
IASHARK publishes statistical analyses of football matches. We do not accept bets, place bets for you or hold gambling funds, and we do not hold any gambling licence in South Africa.
18+ only
IASHARK is only for adults aged 18 or over. Under the National Gambling Act 7 of 2004, minors may not gamble.
A probability is not a promise
Our analyses are estimates. An outcome rated at 60% will, on average, not happen four times out of ten, and a good run tells you nothing certain about the next result. Nothing on IASHARK guarantees winnings, and betting is not a way to make an income.
Keeping it under control
- Set a budget and a time limit before you start, and stick to them.
- Only bet what you can afford to lose, and never borrow to gamble.
- Do not chase losses.
- Take breaks, and avoid gambling when you are stressed, low or have been drinking.
- Use the limit-setting tools offered by licensed operators.
- Only bet with operators licensed by a South African provincial licensing authority.
Warning signs
- Spending more money or time on gambling than you intended.
- Hiding your gambling or lying about it.
- Gambling causing debt, arguments, or problems at work or study.
- Feeling anxious, irritable or low when you are not gambling.
If any of these sound familiar, free and confidential help is available.
