18+ ONLY.
IAShark publishes statistical analyses of football matches that are produced automatically. This page explains the principle: who publishes them, what data they use, how to read the figures and what their limits are. Details of sources, calculations and settings are not published.
For information only. The service is for people aged 18 and over. Betting carries financial risk and can become addictive.
1. Who publishes IAShark
- Website: iashark.com
- Publisher: IAShark
- Contact: contact@iashark.com
- Legal information: Legal notice
IAShark is not a betting operator or a bookmaker. The site takes no bets, runs no player accounts and pays out no winnings. IAShark holds no gambling licence of any kind. The analyses are statistical estimates published for information. They are not financial advice and not an invitation to bet.
2. The data we use
The analyses draw on team and player statistics, match history and the odds offered by bookmakers. The amount of data available varies from one competition to another.
3. How it works
For each match, a statistical model uses this data to estimate the chances of the main outcomes. The analysis then highlights one option, chosen by a fixed rule from the markets that bookmakers actually price, favouring the most likely outcomes. When no odds exist for a match, the most likely option is published without odds.
Finally, an artificial intelligence tool writes the explanatory text from the figures already calculated: it chooses nothing and cannot change any figure. The texts are translated automatically, by an AI tool, into the site's other languages.
4. What the figures mean
A probability is an estimate, never a promise. 60% means that, over a large number of comparable matches, the outcome should happen about 6 times in 10, and so fail to happen about 4 times in 10. On the site, the estimated probability is also shown out of 10: 6.4/10 means 64%.
IAShark publishes no results history and no profitability figures, and promises no winnings.
5. Limits
- The unexpected. Analyses are calculated in advance, once a day, and are not rerun just before kick-off. A late injury, an unexpected line-up or any other surprise is not taken into account. Always check the official line-ups.
- Small samples. Early in the season, or for a newly promoted team, few matches are available, so the estimates are less certain.
- No call. No option is highlighted for a match that has already started or when the data is insufficient.
- AI-written texts. They are not reviewed one by one before publication and may contain errors of interpretation. If they differ from the figures shown, the figures prevail.
- Chance. Football remains highly unpredictable: losing runs happen even when the estimates are right. Never stake money you need.
- No betting on this site. IAShark publishes analyses: the site takes no bets.
6. Safer gambling
Betting is not allowed for anyone under 18. It carries risks: debt, isolation, addiction. Set limits on time and money, do not chase losses, and stop if betting is no longer just entertainment.
