Newcastle United: fixtures, form and match stats
The name Newcastle United was agreed on 9 December 1892 to mark the union of the city's two clubs, after Newcastle East End took over the assets of Newcastle West End. Home is St James' Park, the oldest and largest football stadium in North East England, and the magpie on the crest gives the club its nickname, the Magpies. Newcastle's fiercest local fixture is the Tyne–Wear derby against Sunderland. In March 2025 the club won its first major domestic trophy since 1955, beating Liverpool 2–1 in the EFL Cup final. This page is updated daily with the Magpies' next fixtures in all competitions, shown in UK time, their position in the Premier League table, their recent results and, where IASHARK has already published a match analysis, the public confidence index of the model with a link to it. Everything shown is based on real match data and statistical models: these are probabilities, not promises, and IASHARK is not a bookmaker.
